Overview
I created Tutorial Tim, an online learning platform focused on defining the user experience and user interface design, and curating courses for entry-level designers and developers, as well as consumer and business-to-business design organizations, to bridge the gap between design and development through design systems thinking in Figma. My goal was never to just teach design — it's to show how the techniques and mental models taught in these courses apply to building products in the real world. It's the same knowledge that paved my own pathway to jobs at Google, Airbnb, and Meta, built on tried and true design processes.

The platform has grown to over 5,000 students on tutorialtim.com, alongside 6,400+ subscribers on the Tutorial Tim YouTube channel.

I partnered with freeCodeCamp.org, one of the largest free coding education platforms in the world, to produce "Create a Design System with Figma - Full Course," a 7.5-hour, start-to-finish course walking through the entire process of building a production-ready design system in Figma.
